Stable and Groom Manager - Madison Azelton

Caring for horses is our priority, and Madison provides top quality in the day-to-day caring for horses and managing grooms.  Assisting Kayleigh with the conditioning of horses, Madison particularly enjoys helping break out the younger horses.  Her passion for horses began as a young child, and continues while she earns a degree in Horse Management and Michigan State University.

Owner - Rob Haar

In addition to managing facilities and the finances, Rob is starting a new breeding program at Signature Oak Stables.  With our 2017 and 2018 foals, we are off to a great start.

Rob's goal is to create a high-quality atmosphere where horses are not only well cared for, but that the owners enjoy the experience and time in the barn.  The facilities in Dexter offer the best amenities, including a large indoor riding arena which is heated for the cold Michigan winters and well ventilated for the hot summers.  Stalls are large and open, and the facility includes not only a lounge/office, but spacious tack room and ready stalls, indoor wash rack and foaling stalls.

Trainer - Kayleigh Meyer

A young and rising star in the Arabian training world, Kayleigh brings a wealth of experience to our stable and customers.  Most recently Kayleigh has been an assistant trainer at Stachowski Farms, learning from the best English and Hunt trainers in the country.  Prior to that, Kayleigh was an assistant trainer at Trowbridge’s Ltd, another one of the country’s best Arabian English showing facilities.  At Trowbridge’s she developed a passion for helping amateur riders reach their full potential for success in the show ring.

Kayleigh grew up in Connecticut showing Arabian horses and was President of the equestrian team at the University of Connecticut while getting her degree in Animal Sciences. At UConn, she was also the Captain of the Western Intercollegiate Team and a teaching assistant in the Animal Sciences department, teaching lessons in all riding divisions and assisting professors in all aspects of classroom learning. While at Connecticut, she also showed the Morgan horses on behalf of the University in all disciplines.

Kayleigh brings with her a talent for helping amateurs in all divisions.  She has brought a US National Reserve Championship in Native Costume for her customers, as well as specializing in the English, Hunter and Show Hack divisions. We are extremely happy to welcome Kayleigh to our team, and look forward to what the future has in store for her!
